Leilani Daisy Quintos, 44, of Hilo died July 9 at Hospice in San Diego. Born in Tulare, Calif., she was a cashier at a clothing store. Visitation from 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Glad Tidings Church. Service at 10 a.m. Casual attire. Private urn committal at a later date. Survived by daughters, Jesslyn K. Quintos of Kona, Leidean Guillot of Oahu, Katrina Chavez of Hilo and Rosemary of California; sons, Anson K. Guillot of Kona, Michael Robles of Hilo, Gerraldo Silva of Tijuana, Mexico, Jose Nicholas of Tijuana, Mexico; mother, Rosemary Quintos of Keaau; father, Lawrence Quintos of Hilo; sisters, Tessie Quintos of Keaau, Christina (Franki) Babas of Keaau; brother, Lawrence “Larry Boy” Quintos of Hilo; six grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Charles Batista, 65, died Saturday at Hilo Medical Center. Born in New York City, he was a multi-media artist and a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. No services.
